I helped design and animate CGI sequences for Cisco Live 2025, building a stylized “data city” to introduce the new AI-powered Networking lineup.
The idea was to show raw signals moving through a city, so they will be routed, analyzed and clarified by Cisco’s products. I built the piece in Cinema 4D with Redshift, using the new particle system to create the sense of data flowing through the city. It took a lot of experimentation to strike the right balance, both in motion and in matching the color palette to Cisco’s branding.
For the look, I designed the lighting to echo a sunrise (dramatic yet subtle), symbolizing new technology revealing itself with the new day. Camera moves were kept slow and deliberate to avoid distractions and help the audience stay focused. Since the video was designed for a huge screen, the pacing and visuals were intentionally restrained so as not to overwhelm viewers.
For the second part of the project, I also developed a few shots for the AI Canvas Agentic-Ops announcement video. This was made directly in After Effects to be able to have fast turnaround and try the shots in the edit as quick as possible.
