This project involved an exploration of 3D and 2D icon-based animations for the Microsoft Viva re-brand. My role was to conceptualize and create a visual language that would support and enhance the re-branding efforts of this integrated employee experience platform.
The project began with creating an initial mind map to outline ideas and concepts.
Initial development and style frames
For the 3D explorations, I used Cinema 4D (C4D) and Redshift. Drafting animations that captured the essence of the re-brand.
The 2D animations provided a dynamic and engaging way to present the platform's capabilities. This contributed to a more robust and visually appealing brand presence, helping to highlight Microsoft Viva’s role in supporting connection, insight, purpose, and growth.
