The Corridor is the central core of an evolving urban nervous system connecting knowledge, education, culture and invention. It is a catalyst of innovation through promotion of collaborations and partnerships. Corridor Manchester needed an easy to comprehend vision story to bring these underlying concepts to life.
The project was about communicating the ‘why’ and the ‘what’ of the place and not just its bricks and mortar. I was in charge of the Motion Design and Animation.
Corridor Manchester’s strategic vision for 2025 is built on strong foundations. Since the publication of the previous strategy in 2009, the effective collaboration of the partners has enabled Corridor Manchester to gain local and global recognition as a place that is original, creative and smart, where knowledge is put to work. Corridor Manchester is home to an exceptional group of knowledge-intensive organisations and businesses, with more than 70,000 students and a workforce of 60,000.

I loved working with Creative Director Jon Humphreys for this project. Without a huge budget to shoot new material, we created a timeless film that got great buzz, and that the organization continues to use for presentations and online. The music was done by the Royal Northern College of Music.
